Short, stiff springs will have "open space" at full droop.

I suggest wiring the top of the spring to the top of the perch to keep it in place when the suspension is unloaded. The bottom will usually locate itself with no problem.

I was under the impression that if the suspension droops past the springs capability that you should restrain the travel ? no?

Thanks Chuck this method was suggested to me by two very reputable Porsche repair gents at the New Member dinner Sat. night. you ae right on with the idea. Drill a hole and Stainless steel saftywire the top. I will be working on it soon.
