The Top Gear track must really be a horsepower track. Great handling cars like the Porsches and even the little Lotus Elise don't seem to do as well while higher horsepower cars really seem to do well. I think all of the top ten are in the 600+hp range. Even though its down on the list I am amazed at how well the Golf R32 did!

If they did it would be VERY difficult to beat that little Caterham R500. Having watched many of these make their laps, I must say the Catherham was quiet a handfull and required all of the Stig's prowess but boy did it shine and compaired to other cars did so at bargin price.

Of course if you REALLY want a Fast lap on the Top Gear Track you will have to go outside the show.

Take a look.

It's really two very open loops tied together. This would be really fast in a lot of cars... except a faded red 944.

Hey Don Auten, you listenin''?

The little "w" has been omitted from the times. Many times they will run on a wet "w" track. On the show if is wet or damp they will add the "w" to the time so you know it was run on a wet track. So I'm not sure how valid any of the times are.
