My Dad did one PDS and now he can't stop...

I helped Dad get a 996 thinking he would just enjoy having a fun car. Then I thought it would be a good idea to enroll him in the PDS...just to give him a little taste of how much fun we have. He now has lost his mind. He has done 6-7 auto-x this year and just did a PCA two day event at Laguna. I HAVE NOT EVEN DRIVEN LAGUNA DAD!! Here he is...

Ryan (RSR) rebuilt the heads then a bumper to bumper service on the car. Dad has not had one problem.

Very cool, Sean! I'm glad he's having so much fun. :burnout:

Sean, its never too late to get a Porsche as your Dad now knows.

I sold my 944spec car in June but I just got a 2003 996 coupe last week in the same color combination as your Dad's car. Now I have to learn to drive a car with the engine in the wrong end.

Uh, talk about lost his mind, what about my dad. Started with me convincing him to buy a 996, his first German car. Now he has 3 Porsches and a MB, with a dedicated track 996 that he races when not building Porsche Racecars with the Simone Posse or teaching/driving with POC. He does 5x the events that I do! :beerchug:

Good job, Sean! No, start working on that nice wife of your to do the big tracks and you'll have all the family support you'll need.

BTW, your dad's line looked good at the corkscrew. Did he really drive the course solo? Awesome.

Yea, after Sarah is done with her Masters (Dec of this year) then it's open season. :) Yea, Dad got the sign off to run Solo on the back side of Sunday. He was just loving it. I think he needs a track rat car now. He is going to kill that 996!

Ya, Jad, your dad has as bad a case of the Porsche disease as I have ever seen.
