RULES QUESTION FOR THE BRI TROPHY

Postby MTrotter on Sat Oct 02, 2010 8:10 pm

can someone please explain the rules for the BRI trophy?
Do I just add to it? or do I remove one item then add?

I forgot to ask?

Thanks,

Morgan-

In general, you add to it. The "Baroque-ness" of the trophy is part of it's charm. There really aren't any rules for the BRI trophy, though, just as the BRI is not an "official" award. It was kind of a "spontaneous" evolution from the infamous posting by Curt Anderson years ago regarding the BRI and "polishing your dolphin." Over the years, it has evolved and now has an expanded base offering more room for additional decoration. In the beginning it was quite a bit smaller, and sometimes you had to remove something to add something different. Some pics from its more austere early days:

Great driving yesterday. You were on fire!

Thanks, not sure how often the car will be in San Diego, but I enjoyed yesterday very much.

Hope so, Morgan, because you were "in the zone" yesterday. One of the most impressives drives I've seen out there. Congrats!
