DE & TT Update

Several updates about the DE & TT series for 2011:

- An event has been added: DE & TT at Buttonwillow, November 12-13.
- For TT’ers, annual SDR awards will be based on the new 2012 classing system. The Zone will continue to use the same system that was used in 2010, so you have a shot at awards in two different classing systems.
- The Season Pass program has been modified such that participants may qualify by simply attending all TT’s or all DE’s (previously attendance at all TT’s and all DE’s was required). You may still miss 3 event-days in your chosen category and if you are a TT’er, for example, you will still qualify for the discount at DE-only events if you attend.
- Instructors who sign up for TT Timed Runs in advance and actually instruct will not be charged for their Timed Runs.
- We need an equipment chair for 2011 (responsibilities include bringing the radios, communicators, Hot Lap transmitters, etc. to the track, managing the radios, and returning the equipment to the trailer). The tracks do not charge the equipment chair their daily entry fee. PM me if interested.

Also, we have 60 drivers currently registered for Streets of Willow January 22-23. Students that sign up at this point are being waitlisted. As more instructors become available, students will clear the waitlist first come, first served. Early registration discount ends tomorrow night (Friday, January 7). Sign up right away for the best chance at a spot on the grid.
