Postby Mmagus on Tue Jan 11, 2011 5:47 pm

**Update: The anouncment will air in the 11am and 6pm hours tomarrow (Wednesday). Sorry no more specific time was available**

I dropped the DSC morning crew (Dave, Shelly, and Chainsaw) on Jack FM 100.7 a note regarding this Saturday thinking it was going to be put on their website. As it turns out they will be mentioning it on the air! :beerchug: I have no idea when.

If Boyer, (or better yet Dave) should actually show up we should go waay out of our way to show them a good time. Think of the public relations value for our club and all the "others" if the #1 radio personality in our region thinks we're "good people"

Currently it is just an anouncment on the stations "Jacktivities", but hopefully I/we can turn it into something a bit more as the year progresses.

If someone from the show er...."shows up" I volunteer to take them for a few laps. I'm sure others would also.

As a matter of fact.........I raced karts with Boyer and invited him down to an AX. He showed up with helmet in hand and hung out with us for a while. I took him out for a couple laps in one of our 944 Spec cars. He was impressed with how well the car stuck to the road. It was my way of thanking the DSC for all they do for San Diego.
Glad Shelly is back......
