Thank you to Robert and Jack for another great event. The DE school went very well. I saw a lot of happy DE & TT students at the track this weekend. Hopefully, this bodes well for our DE/TT series.

I had the best time playing with Jackie, Sean, Peter and Chuck in session 5 on Saturday. I can't wait to see everyone's video from that session.

We had perfect weather and everyone was helpful and did their best to keep the broken cars running. I had a little issue with my car, but was still able to enjoy the weekend due to good friends.

Thanks!!!! :beerchug:

I agree Mark, a really well run event! Thanks to all who made it happen. The weather was perfect only a slight breeze on Sunday. The spins and breakdowns netted 0 injuries. So much seat time I had to skip some to not be exhausted (and have tires to run for timed sessions) Speaking of that Timed sessions wer smooth as well (baring Debbie shaprs ability to catch everytone in front of her... :roflmao: Tons-o-fun!

Hey...any idea when the track record postings get updated?

Something is broken with that feature on the website. When I get time I'll take a look

What a great weekend and wonderful learning experience on a technical and challenging track. Orange group was a blast to play in with so many cars so close in times. I logged some great seat time...based on my odometer I turned roughly 180 track miles and I even sat out a session! Thanks to Robert and Jack (and all the others that make it possible) for a great event.

Yes thanks to all who made SOW possible. The addition of a DE session filled the grid, the CDIs did a great job of preparing many novices for a continuous lapping experience, and everything went like a precise German clock. Maybe the best weather I have seen in 5 years at Willow Springs. :beerchug:

What happened to the previous class records for that configuration?

Wow.. that was a great DE/TT. I can't believe how much fun it was. A big thank you to all who put this together and made it happen.

And another big thank you to Bill Ibbetson for kindly instructing me, and to Steve G for letting ride along for a session. I learnt a lot, and really enjoyed my first track experience with the club.

Trouble is, I think i'm becoming hooked, and the Cayman is probably due to be replaced sooner than anticipated for a tow vehicle to transport the Boxster!
