Jan 15 AX 2012 Class Results

Postby tb911 on Mon Jan 24, 2011 10:57 pm

Here are the results from the Jan 15 Autocross, based on the 2012 classes.

Unfortunately, not everybody got their 2012 class into MotorsportReg.com, so this is just a small part of the total autocross participation. (I know it was added late.) Hopefully more will add their 2012 information to the online registration for the remaining events in the year. I'm also not sure everybody here correctly classified their car for the new classes, but since this is unofficial, that's probably impossible to enforce. But the more accurate we are, the more meaningful this will be!

You got that right, Tom--a GT3 and a Carrera S in CC16? I don't think so....

Also - I am actually in CC13, not CC14 (my error when I entered on MSR). So I finished 2nd in class to Tom Tweed in CC13, but no change in the BRI order.

I'm pretty sure that Craig Hill isn't in CC16 in a GT3 which means we all move up one spot in the BRI. Tom Tweed was still wicked fast. The good news is, those tires won't be that fast for the whole season (I hope)

Isn't CC16 a 1976 924 2.0 with an Automatic transmission?

I don't think Mike B's 968 is a cc02, It would be a challenge getting it to cc02. looks like cc10 or cc11 depending on tire choice.
Does anyone know the BRI for the ss classes?

Carl,
I posted the GGR PAX for the SS classes in this older thread:
http://forum.pcasdr.org/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=4570

We seem to have adopted their PAX as our BRI for the new classes, regardless of the differences between their rules and ours, subject to future development.

Thanks Tom,
nice drivin too! nothing like fresh rubber. The SS class index's are all off, they cant be correct as the same two index numbers are repeated several times. .917 and .938.

Ya, and as I mentioned in that other thread, the top 3 AX classes as well as "914GT" class are all the same at 1.000, and there is very little spread from top to bottom of the classes compared to our old BRI. I don't quite get the reasoning behind it.
