am I looking at this right? seems like the major speed delta is in acceleration, straight away and rediculous braking deceleration. it looks like down in the corner right hander the difference is not so blistering.

Yep, that is why they are called type 3 corners. Going 5mph faster in a corner is HARD, going 5 mph faster in a straight line isn't. Look at dragsters for possiblities in a straight line or compare slalom speed variations (~10 mph) to top speed variations (~100mph) amoung normal street cars. Make the straights long and the corners short and slow (does not apply to 944 that don't actually change speed between corners and straights :roflmao: )

That's not true!!!! If you're driving your 944 "Flat out", the difference between the straight and the corner can be as much as 10mph. :roflmao:
