Alternator shop?

Postby Dave Diamond on Sun Mar 20, 2011 9:09 pm

Anyone know a reliable place to get an alternator tested -- for a '79 911 SC (external regulator style)? And to get it rebuilt, or buy a used, rebuilt, or new one? [for my project car -- alive, but in need of several transplanted organs]
Thanks.

North County Alt. rebuilders in Escondido, did a great job on my $700 (new) alternator for my motorhome.
They do CalTrans, School buses, ect..
