When it comes to shooting Porsches .. the man is a rockstar!

I was in "the reading chamber" - (it's a guy thing) looking at the latest Pano and the first thing that struck me was the outstanding cover shot.

It is a really well-taken image of a Cayman at the rim of the grand canyon (or somewhere pretty similar - I'm sure there's some clown out there itching to correct me on the exact location of the shot).

Anyway, it is a beautifully clear image, well framed with pin sharp focus and great color composition, definitely worthy of a large format magazine cover.

I kept going back and looking at it .... and noticing more and more cool things about it ... like ... the clouds reflected in the roof etc. etc. and then I looked inside at the first page and was proud to see the photographer was none other than SDR's own Pres-to-be

GREG PHILLIPS!!!!!

Well done Greg!! GREAT work!!

The title of this post says it all.

Thanks for the kind words.

The beautiful skies, Cayman and Grand Canyon were the real stars.
But a cover shot for Pano is nice

Just got my issue in the mail, and it is indeed an outstanding shot! But beyond that (and the many photos and blow-by-blow articles he has supplied for our own WW publication), without Greg's efforts, I would have very few photos saved on my hard drive of me driving my cars on the track over the years. Many thanks for your constant efforts to document our events, buddy, and I know I am not alone in that respect! YOU DA MAN!
