And Dan, how could you ever really assess my driving skills? Wouldn't you need to be able to see my line for more than 4 or 5 seconds? :D

Oh, come on Curt. You're usually in my mirrors and fading away for a bit longer than 4 seconds. Usually you don't dissappear from my mirrors until the tight turns  .

Dano - I think you're down to four choices 1) Bolt on a turbo pronto, 2) Call Steve / Denise and beg for the GT3 for the weekend 3) find a shortcut or 4) drive like a son of a gun.

Looking forward to this weekend big time.

Pete:
I'll try option 4, and be happy if I get 2nd place.

Short cut? Hmmmmm. Maybe I'll de-tune my suspension a little and put on some "mud-and-snows" for the infield.... nah!

This is going to be one fine weekend! The car's back from Mirage Int'l with a sweet-driving transaxle (avec GT Differential), the freshly prepared wheels from Keith V. look awesome, and the sticky Toyo's should be out of this world.

I can't wait!!

See you guys Friday night!

Good one, Mike.

Darn! Here I was thinking that with about 400 Lbs less vehicle weight, and about 35 more horsepower, he might have a mechanical advantage. Rats, wrong again. 8)

Dan,
Stacy's wifes car  is about 2450lbs. and has a warmed over 3.0L with early exhaust and (stuff)

So that's more like -600lbs. and +75HP, but who counting. I've seen some pretty fast lap times out of you at the speed circuit so you should have no problem keeping up.

After all it is 13 years older than your car and has ugly 15in wheels instead of those cool 17's

 600-pounds!?! :bigcry:

:banghead: +75-Horses!!??!! :roflmao:

"Stacy's wifes car" Steve, I love that. Ya know, seasalt burns a little longer than regular table salt in wounds!

The only place I'm likely to keep up with Stacey Smith is in the bar afterwards .... "c'mon Stacey, wait for me to finish this beer!" :beerchug:

However, I will look good.
"It's not how you feel (or in this case drive) it's how you look..... and you look maaaavelous!" :burnout:

I'm counting the days......
