A little info needed for Chuckwalla

Postby gulf911 on Fri Jan 20, 2012 10:42 am

Hi all,
Mick Rosen and I will be at Chuckwalla and wondered if there is anyone else staying at the event hotel that could provide a ride to and from so we can leave the cars at the track? Also does anyone know if any of the rentable trailers are available? And what the cost is as an option? Please PM me.

Thanks all!,
Dan

Dan,
Info on the trailers is here:
http://chuckwallavalleyraceway.com/trac ... modations/
I've got one rented, but we've got 3 on Friday night and 2 people for Saturday already. $250 for the weekend....not "cheap", but buys me a few hours not having to drive to Indio & back.
edit: This thread says trailers are all booked (there are only 2 or 3): forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=5104

Question: For Saturday night, can I bum some grill space from anyone??? Grill rental payment in good beer will be provided! :D

Thanks,
Keith

Trailers book out at least a month in advance.
I have never been able to get one in 3 trips there with my personal level of procrastination.
Sorry but all 5 spots in the crew cab are already spoken for.

The Boxster Bros will also be running the BBQ Saturday night and we are cooking a pile of chickens and taters. If anyone would like to join us let me know and we will plan accordingly. There is also a rumor that some blues jamming might happen if it's not 14 degrees outside.

Sounds fun! Should I bring my travelin' guitar? Nothing like hot BBQ thighs and some hot guitar licks.

Thanks for the grill offers gentlemen! Missed the post before now but am catching it just in time since I'm rolling thru Indio now! You just saved me from a cold cuts dinner Saturday night. Many thanks!

Darn...a blues jam and me wo a guitar and a bottle slide. I'll put that on the list for next time!

I'm planning to stay in my trailer Sat night. Was gonna have instant noodle for dinner, but would love to crash the party and hangout.
