Passing along some info for those that may know a young adult who could use something like this or if any instructors are interested in participating.

"The San Diego Chapter of the BMW Car Club of America is holding a Street Survival School on Sunday, April 1, 2012. The cost of this one-day school is only $75 and includes lunch. Learn more about Street Survival and register your driver between the ages of 16 and 21 at: www.streetsurvival.org. Registration will open on February 15th. The first 36 students to sign up will be enrolled. Registration is open to all -- it is not necessary to be a BMWCCA member to register your teenager.

Students use their own daily drivers, and parents are encouraged to attend the classroom instruction and observe the driving. To participate, students must present their valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and, if under 18, have their parent or guardian electronically sign the Minor Waiver.

You may also send questions to the local registrar, Gordon Anderson at: gnanderson@roadrunner.com
