Come join us as we view the car and sales manager brief the latest technology associated with the 981 to include putting one car on a lift to view under carriage. The Tech Session would be a dedicated session only for PCASDR members presented by the sales department with the follow on open house introduction open to anyone, including our club members, that may desire to just view the cars in the showroom in a walk in basis. Clubmembers will provide a car representative of different Boxster models that will be displayed in the showroom area. The dealership would also again like to have member Excellent Condition Boxsters available for staging at this event including Special Edition and Spyders. Stay tuned for more information as this Tech Session event unfolds.

Update for 28 July (Saturday) the new Boxster Tech Session is one you don’t want to miss!!! View the Club calendar and Forum for details. In addition to Porsche of San Diego hosting the tech session to introduce and view the new 981 Boxster, there will be a catered Omelet Breakfast commencing at 0900 to start the Tech Session and a special track driving simulator event immediately after the Tech Session. The realistic track simulator developed by Porsche will be set up to simulate the 996 Turbo driving the Laguna Seca race track. Club members are invited to early participate in the simulator driving event on 26-27 July to determine the top ten drivers who will have a drive off Saturday to determine the final winner. Please call Porsche of San Diego now to sign up (phone number 858-695-3000) and ask to speak to Brandon Salazar to reserve a 12 minute time slot either Thursday 11AM to 8 PM or Friday 9AM to 8PM. Each driver will get 4 laps (one practice and three timed). Friday FOX news will be at the dealership to televise what’s going on so you may make the headlines.



As an added incentive to participate in the Boxster Tech Session, Porsche of San Diego has generously provided prizes for the top three simulator drivers. First place will be an all-expenses paid Porsche Driving Experience 2 day performance Driving Course in Birmingham . Second place is a Porsche Design Driver’s selection wrist watch. Third Place is a $250 gift certificate for any Porsche Design Driver’s Selection item in the dealership Boutique. If you think you are a competitive Porsche driver you won’t want to miss this event.



Lastly there will be gift bags for all Tech Session visitors so come on out 0900 – 1200 28 July for the Boxster Tech Session to see the new 981 which appears to be a winner and also hear from the new management team at Porsche of San Diego as well as enjoy Breakfast and socialize with your fellow club members and cheer on the final track simulator contestants.
