Fuel Cell leak repair

Postby eric9144 on Tue Nov 03, 2026 3:59 pm

Any suggestions for a shop to replace a leaking gasket at the bottom of my Patrick Motorsports 914/6 fuel cell? Appears to be an easy job but I don't have the right tools to disconnect the fittings at the bottom of it, already have parts. Went by Black Forest Automotive and after 10 days of waiting to be scheduled, they seem to have no interest in fixing it which is super frustrating as I was hoping to use them as my shop of choice for normal maintenance.

Really don't want to trailer it out to Patrick MS in Phoenix but if this is what the mechanic scene has become here in San Diego I guess that's my option unless any one might have a suggestion.
