I looked up a couple of my own numbers Dan and two of my five ever autocrosses were in 2005. In each of these autocrosses I beat you by over 1 second! Now correct me if I'm wrong but that seems like an eternity to me. I guess just for fun I can see if I can beat you consistently by two seconds
.
Great point, motor-head boy. But explain to me: why a car that weighs 16% less with the same HP/Drive-train, can't beat me by 16%? (So: at 80-seconds your time, I should have been 16% slower ... or 92.8 seconds. OR: at 81.1 seconds - you should have turned a 68.1? Hmmm - not in your life-time!).

mfoley wrote:Hmmm ... sounds like excuses to me Dan. Let me try some of your math. You've done at least 50 autocrosses, right? I've done 5. So my one second advantage should be (50/5 = 10) 10 seconds after I've completed my 50th autocross, right? It's seat time baby!
Oh and about smack talking less and driving more, I think I did about 350 miles last weekend and that didn't include the timed runs. How many autocrosses is that anyway?
