So Curt, you have a nekked Barbie Doll (with jad's face on it) fastened to your lap .... oh, I mean Hot Lap.....

Oh Dude! Seek help.

Personally, I look forward to the Supra crowd ..... My car will fit right in .... except for the HP (see Avitar  )

Tall-Mike, a ride in your rocket-sled sounds fun. I'm going to check the track with Robert B. Saturday AM, so how 'bout Saturday PM? I promise I won't touch any dials or buttons on the dash!

See you all there!

Is it true that not all the Supras have turbos?
With your 944 and years of experiance I bet you'll run away from several.
Yeah a late afternoon ride might be better for sharing information.
Saturday my right seat is open to all.

I too think mixing makes creates more interest.

I just acquired a 912 - you're "really" invited us to join the faster breed? My S2 was definietly faster then this "pure air cooled" Porsche.

I don't think I'd ever see more than 100 mph down one of those long straights in the 4 banger - are you sure we're allowed?

Damn, this year unfortunately has had lots of family stuff on track weekends. I'm going to miss this one due to Mom's 80th Birthday and a family cruise to Mexico.

The new track looks pretty speedy and I know the competition will be fierce. No Curt,Jad, Riz(aka Elvis the king),Dan or other jokes, just kick some Asian car butt!

Hey Pete your mom's 80th, fantastic.
Rice or potato burner matters not.
Imho a turbo Supra would make a very cool daily driver.

David: bring it! With the long-sweeping turns, and the other factors of the track, you're "little 4-banger" will really surprise you. Heck, any monkey can drive fast down the straights. Just look at the 911 guys :roflmao:

Remember, the technology of your 912 goes back 30+ years. Compared to other 4 bangers of that era, the 912 is an amazing sports car. Come on down and play with the vintage 912 crowd. It will be fun on a whole new level.

Hope to see you there.

Sure, except for the part where they keep calling us "anal" and referring to us as "POC", oh, and expecting fully open passing.

Hey Drama Dan,
Consider an analytical approach not an emotional response.
Isn’t your worst fear missing a top 3 finish in AM?

This works for me.

hmmm.... after following the link to the supra forum, It appreas that Dan could have a valid concern...
Not trying to stir the pot, but after reading all the comments I wonder if there are some "Fast & Furious" type drivers in the bunch....it's subtle but the clues seem to be there.

Perhaps using 'my worst fears' was a bit dramatic... Oh and thanks for noticing...

4th in AM?? Oh, you're a funny one you are.... :?

I have said my piece...now its back to work...
