Anyone want to have some sprint races at K1Racing/gocarts in Carlsbad. Say 2 pm Sunday?
I went a few weeks back and for 50$ or so we can have some fun.

On the condition that we all have to drive there in our track cars, that sounds like fun.
Am I the only one with "the Jones" bad enough to go slumming in elecrtic carts? Anyone else?

I'm interested, and I so far haven't admitted to my wife that the event is canceled. But I'm not sure I want to go all the way up there, when I have Miramar Speed Circuit right next door. ;)

Count me in if you get a group. K1/Carlsbad would be better. Thanks,

Very frustrating and disappointing to lose the October event. :banghead:

I must have missed that as well. My personal calander has PCA AX on Sunday, Nov. 16 on the SE lot, now the website has Sat. Nov. 8th. :surr:

No one has addressed this question yet in this thread, and it would be good if someone from the autox team cleared up the confusion. The original post Ron made regarding the AX dates for the second half of the year did state Nov. 16 {http://forum.pcasdr.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2741}, while the autox calendar shows Nov. 8 {http://www.pcasdr.org/porsche_events/track_events/autocross/calendar/index.php}. Since OCR has an autox on Nov. 9 at El Toro, this might make a difference to people who want to attend both.

Our AX is Nov. 8th. We originally had listed the 16th but the Q changed it a week or two after we published the date. We then listed that but not everyone picked it up. Now this whole thing has made me tired, so I think I'll have another beer.

Speaking of racing.....Mark Rondeau and I had a ton a fun at K1 banging into each other Sunday afternoon. If you get sideways right in front of a competitor, he'll spin you every time
I think we should designate (unofficially of course.....Ted) a night every two weeks or so to get together and hold races at K1. All the karts are the same....well, pretty close....and they're plenty fast for the tight track layout, so it's driver skill that matters.
Maybe we could combine it with a dinner out?

As Dave said, the racing was a blast. Dave took advantage of my kart as I got a little sideways in one corner. I did get even when they stopped the track and took him on the re-start. I'm ready to get together with some other PCA racers (unofficially, of course) and have some more fun. We can race at Miramar or K1. It's all the same to me. :burnout:
