I had the same question based on the corner numbering in the drawing.

Wow, you guys are observant (Dave/Dan/Chet). That drawing was the only one I could find that had a detailed route of the infield. I did not notice that the corners were marked for CCW. However, now I fixed the map for you guys.
The maximum number is 80 and we will open registration to select other club members on May 15.

Not sure about the rest but I would prefer CW for the whole day. IMHO the course flows better.

Paul, I ran the infield with cat-bypass and had no problems. We will double check for you.

I had contact with the track management today and here are the answers to the questions y'all have asked:

1. The track can only be run clockwise. I've run the infield twice CW and thought it might be nice to go CCW, but it was not designed to go in that directions (run offs and all) so it only can be run in the CW direction.

2. Because the track is being rented by another group the weekend before we get there, and they run until 5:00 p.m. and by the time they get their equipment out of there it's XXXX p.m. etc. the track will not let us set up motorhomes the evening prior to our event. Sorry, their call not ours.

3. No problem with open pipes, straight pipes, organ pipes, just leave all other pipes at home...

4. I guess the cost of the day use of the infield does not allow us to use the driver's room and the little office next door to the garage in the infield. We do have 1 bank of garages that have power. That's where Martin, Carl and myself will set up shop for admin. We hope to have a table and chairs for Debbie Sharp and her assist (if any) for any on site, last minute walk ups (once again, if any spaces are still available. Remember, we're capping the amount of attendees at 80.

If you have any more questions, let me know and I'll find the answers for you.

Non PCA experience may be acceptable; please submit info in advance.

To whom should we submit this info?

Thanks,
Chris

I've been in contact with the track again today and was able to get this info from them:

The reason why we can't have motorhomes camped overnight from Sunday night until the DE on Monday is because the track locks down the facility at 10:00 p.m. and re-opens at 6:00 a.m. If there are campers, they cannot exit the facility in the event of an emergency.

The cost of having security there overnight is $400. If there are enough people that want to bring motorhomes and then split the cost, please let me know and I'll arrange it with the track.
For those of you that are going up on Sunday night, but are staying in a hotel, you can drop off your trailers, cars, equipment from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Just a reminder, have your cars pre-teched BEFORE coming to the track, for those that are last minute attendees and need to pre-tech at the track, I hope to have tech inspectors available for the morning of.

Regarding Motorhome parking: We need to cover the cost of security which is $400 and want to know if we can get enough motorhome people to cover this cost. If there are more people bringing a motorhome it would help us to know early rather than later in order for us to make a decision. We are still sweating a break-even on this event which is around 65 drivers and so far we have 2 motorhomes. I am sure that you can understand that we are trying to do what's best for the club.

I see there are 28 already registered for this event.

I'm really looking forward to driving a DE on a racetrack surface instead of a parking lot. This should be fun.

Martin, the email didn't work. I never heard back.

So, as an "away" event, can we pre-tech? If not, when is tech open? 6:30-7:30AM?

If we can pre-tech, when is the driver's meeting and first-car-out scheduled?
