Yes. The 10th will be the next one. We had fun last night. Bill Behun showed up as well as Lucky Dave, Kelsey, Jerry Bumpus and myself. There were lots of rookies out there and it made it quite interesting as we raced around them. Ask Jerry about his encounter with the wall

Yes everyone, I got CHICKED! ... and by Kelsey (Dave Malmberg's daughter) who was MY STUDENT at our Driving School a couple of years ago. I told her she should be my instructor now.

Last night was my first time at K-1 and Dave, Jerry and Mark taught me some good stuff about how to tackle the karts and the course. I know the kart driving and "lessons" will transfer to my auto driving. Look out Dan Chambers and Erik Kinninger! :D Well, I hope anyway.

Jeez, I just missed the top 40. Looks like I was 41st.

By the way, my last session was my fastest and I DID BEAT Jerry Bumpus that session. He got CHICKED too!

For those of you who haven't tried this karting yet, they have constant specials which make the price pretty affordable. It's also a great way for the recent Driving School students to pick up on what you've just learned. With a turn about every 2.5 seconds I think I beat into my head (and clearly saw) that slow in - fast out works!

I'll definitely be back! :burnout:

Sorry I missed the fun. A few years back Jad and I used to go there about once a month or so for the lunch runs. Ah the good old days. I'm so busy now I can hardly tell which way is up and I'm so broke I can't even pay attention. :roflmao:

Look out Dan Chambers and Erik Kinninger! Well, I hope anyway.
Bill, just so you know: I just ordered my DOT 140 Wear-Rated tires for ISS class. Now who's looking out? :burnout:

Dan - ah, yes. Time and money.

My car is still a lowly 1 point car so until I get to rehab all those 29 year old parts, I expect to be "Chambered" if you go to the esteemd and highly respected ISS class! I've been "Grosekempered" earlier this year so I will wash my windshield and be ready to look out for you way up front! :D

Yee haw!

Psssst, Bill. Here's a little secret: I'm only going to drive ISS during the David/Goliath Challenge. I like you too much to take away a much deserved 1st place standing ... and no one is really challenging me in IS since Steve has a new toy to borrow in IP and Paul is playing with Butch in II. So, yeah; we can all get along here. 8)

Don't put too much effort into the windshield. Focus on Delron bushings, torsion bars, and some  140-rated R1-R Toyo's.

See you in Fontana. :D

Hey Dan, I don't want to "blow your cover", but what's with only driving ISS in the D/G Challenge? Maybe I should get in on that action?
