Thanks, Bill.

The club members whooped up on us! Too bad the Duncan car broke; Jad was in the easy 29s all weekend. Nice 30, Steve E. :) Dave G., you should be proud of #1 BRI. :D

Another great weekend. Wanted to thank Chuck for stopping to help change my trailer tire that gave out.....and the 4 or 5 others who stopped to make sure we had a spare etc. Thanks everyone for your concern!

I plan to start carrying a community spare 996 half shaft. Jim said he would check to see if they are all the same. I think the GT3 and GT2's are the same. I've seen them fail to often.

Anyone know what those 3 or 4 top 10 club members were driving?........especially the first two :D

Alright Rayner... last time I ever give you any braking advice!!!

Come on Sean, you are too far ahead in points for me to catch you! And, it wasn't only you who helped me, that advice was probably only good for a second, and I got you by... oh, never mind  . Lets see,I also got help from Jackie, Jad, Phil, Mark, Debbie, Glen, others I'm sure, and especially Chuck, who rode with me one session instead of riding with Debbie and really made me man up through turns 1 and 2(although he may have agreed to ride with me only because he was afraid to go out with Debbie again on those tires  )
Great Weekend. Those who missed it, really missed a great one. Thanks everyone

I would not swear to it but I think TTOD was the black Z06 Corvette "007" and second was one of the Lotus Exige Cup cars.

I confirmed with Robert it was the Corvette Z 06 (.6 seconds faster)and a Lotus 211 (.07 Faster).

Jad I need to ride with you and find at least another second or two. I knew I should have paid that $100 Saturday morning. :D

Yep, the TTOD was a back vet #007. I was sitting next to the guy who helped him develop the car. He claims he consistently turned 1:27s...
As a sidetrack to this thread, do you see how much fun the 944 drivers are having both on the track and the forum. Dave Q, dump the money pit and come on over! You belong with the hooligans!!!

Come on Dave, where else can you get an email the night before a TT where the subject line reads "let's swap paint"? Sean? And now the pictures are up? BTW, SEAN graciously provided the ingredients for the margaritas. I think he likes to stir up trouble...

From my brother:
To All the Club members:
The opportunity to ride with Kris Urquhart all weekend without working
through the details of being a qualified driver has provided a special
memory for me. I understand my experience was one of the first for the club, please
make sure many others follow!! Stan Urquhart

Kris,

Thank you for passing that message on from your brother. I'm glad he enjoyed the weekend and the ride with you. I too hope others will take advantage of this opportunity.

PS BRI 1 feels good. The car did very well. :D
