Mr Malmberg, please grab erik, Jad, Roland, Martin, Peter , jackie... as examples, to drive your car Dec 6th.... :beerchug:

Great job on BRI first place David!...

Maybe they should have had more drivers in the Cayman S. OCR got 3rd, 5th , 7th, 15th and 36th (unless I missed someone). That adds up to a lot of points. I believe it was 21 to 66. That's a 45 point spread (Steve E's math may vary)

Dave, We'll all pitch in for tires and gas. :burnout:

OK, my first try at inserting a picture. Might be small, we'll see.
Steve Equina is grittingly smiling to GOLIATH as Goliath kicked butt Sunday! :D

D&G to date season results are:
1st event at OC ....OCR wins by 20 points
2nd event last Sunday at SD .... SDR wins by 14 points.

We are now 6 points behind.
Next event is Sunday, December 6 at OCR.
Drive the fast cars there, :burnout:

While we COULD put more than just me in my car Dec 6th, keep in mind the power delivery nature of a 944 turbo S (first nothing, then lag, then WAY more than you planned on with torque increasing even while you're lifting). It's an early, rather crude system with a BIG turbo that takes most drivers a year to get used to enough to record really fast laps. Until then, it involves a lot of frustration and "big sideways saves" mid corner.
This has been true of Me and Chuck, and I assume, Jad.
We might be shooting ourselves in the foot...........

Ill have a mild GS car (4points) there. Depending on the course... GS could be good.
Unless someone has a kick *** IS car. I can see KS, KSS, IS and GS being in the top 5 BRI.

Dan Chambers put 140 treadwear tires on his 911SC and is in IS/S class now. That would be a good car to pile about 5 drivers into with a 1.012 index. :D

OC's recipe seems to be to stuff hot shoes into an NSS Cayman S. They also did it at the end of the last series. (I think they found a "soft spot" in the BRI ratings...)

The soft spot in BRI is a properly prepped AI 914. With a BRI of 1.042 it is unstopable. Before I sold mine I could clear the second place in BRI by over 3 seconds. Some one needs to pony up and add 200lbs to Sean and Herbs car and buy them some 225/45/15 Hoosier A6s so that class can get a more realistic BRI like the 1.066 of FI.

Funny you should mention the end of the last series... it's the same car (different owner).
And yes, it's bone stock.
