Oh, and I ran out of gas at the end  It still ran, but not in 9!

It seems like you passed everybody except me. I was either hiding behind the pit wall or you went by me so fast that I looked like a blue cone again.

I said most, I figured you would be posting the video of you passing me??? Seriously fast blue cone doing a 1:36 :beerchug:

Ya, what's the deal with a 1:36 Mark?
You drove the wheels off that car... really nice driving.

Here is a video of me chasing Mark, of course to no avail. But I got faster just by following him :D

Congrats on the great times, Mark.

Nice vid Fred. Smooth lines and very relaxed hands. You look pretty fast there running 888s. Yep, Mark R. never missed a beat and destroyed all of us in orange.

Speaking of the weather, I dodged a tumbleweed blowing across the track around turn 7 on two different laps on Sunday. Cool shirt worked great.

Very smooth, Fred. Impressive drive. But, Mark was so smoking fast that I thought he would surely get #1 in the BRI.

And, thanks for the DVD. Much appreciated. See out there again, I hope.

Most impressive times of the weekend, Mark. Thought you would surely get #1 BRI. Of course, we've gotten so used to Jad in the #1 slot that we forget how really good he is. Congrats to you both!!!

Thanks for the kind words everyone. Steve G has the car so well set up that it practically drives itself. I just put a brick on the gas pedal and tap the brakes once in a while.

Great drive. Your car rotates well and looks stable through the turns. I got dizzy watching my car bounced through turn 8 & 9.

Try a slightly higher line through 8. Go in about 3/4 high and work down to the middle of the corner at exit. It'll keep those nasty bumps to a minimum.

Here are my speeds according to the data I've looked at so far: Turn 8/9 117mph, turn 9 apex cone 97mph, Turn 2 exit 88 mph, Turn 3 63mph, Front straight 115 mph. I haven't done the math yet, but I think that in ideal conditions, a low to mid 1:35 is possible in my car.

Team Dead Pets Racing has some Videos posted from WSIR. Go to our Website;

http://www.deadpetsracing.com/index.html

From there to the "Videos" page link, and click on "Willow Springs" on the left.

Of course, we have lot of other track videos, plus spec sheets, results, photos, etc. on our site.

Thanks to Robert, Jack, and team for a great event, and to our many friends for making it a complete and terrific weekend!
