A 996 "tip"? Uh-oh - I assume you have been teaching them left-foot braking techniques. This could put some new competition at the top of NSS, and Jon beat all the MSS drivers last time.

Tawfik (in NSS) and I (in LSS) are already pressuring the MS and OS guys. With Jon and Ted coming up, this year could be "revenge of the street stockers" time!

I am not sure how we are going to catch the P "stock" class, though. 384 HP, a ton of torque, big brakes, and lightweight car may be out of reach of us mortals. Then again, maybe we'll just turn off our A/C next time.

You're telling us that wastegate springs bumped 477 HP up to 675 HP?

If that GT2 is really 675+ HP, you might even be in OI or KM (or AR?). A "stock" engine "replacement" that adds 200 HP is 24 points alone, which would put you in OI class.

Darn, if you are going to get into PS class with a 675 HP GT2, it may take more than turning the A/C off to win the BRI.

Depending on who was speaking at the last AX, your GT2 had 675 HP, 700 HP, 750 HP, or 800 HP. (Probably 1000 HP by the time the beers were gone. )

I disregarded the higher numbers, but a jump from 477 to 675 sounded like some substantial mods.

I would have a shot at you in PP (for BRI anyway ), but if you run anywhere near the same time in PS, you are untouchable - I didn't leave 2.5 seconds out there.

Is anyone else getting tired of Tweed sandbagging in what is so obviously a 993 with early 70's body work.

That's "mid-60s" bodywork, David. Heck, I could fit some 225s in the back if I had those fancy '69-77 flared fenders. And I have a monster 128 HP at the rear wheels from the fire-breathing 2-liter motor in the back, according to the DynoJet I put it on a couple years ago.

I am seriously considering popping the $$$ for some 205/50-15 Hoosiers to max me out in GS and find a couple more seconds. Maybe even nip at the heels of you Big Dogs in the Top Ten.
