That being said, can we compare times from Chuckwalla last January?

Oh Mark, go easy on Jad now. I believe he was only in a 3.4L 996 that day so it is easy to see why he had trouble with a couple of maniacs driving the wheels off their POS 2.5s. He only had a 100hp advantage :)

Just to set the record straight, I was in a 2.7l, very fun, but far from optimized friends Boxster. I had about a 30hp advantage and 400 lb disadvantage. I believe my best time at Chuckwalla is a 1:57 in a 3.6l? How does that compare to your best time there Mark???

In Jad's defense, I knew that he was in the Boxster and that was my only chance to talk smack.
My best time is a 2:03.83 in a 2.5L 944S. That's 2.41 seconds faster than the top Boxster brother. I have yet to drive that track in the 3.0(ish)L 911 and hope to get down another 3 to 4 seconds, While that won't put me in Jad's speed zone, it's not too bad.

Still some track space available at this great venue. Friday DE and test & tune is open to all drivers. No previous track experience required and the weather should be great! Expect 2.5 hrs of track time.
