And like I tell you once or twice a month, if I ever win the Lotto, I'm going to buy that Gulf car from you and make you watch it go into the crusher.

I'm buying extra tickets this weekend! :P

Dan C., my take is - thanx for the kudos. I guess you can be proud that your teaching efforts paid off 8)

It's all good !! I plan on having a swell time while in Pahrump :D I just hope the KP guyz will continue to be such shining ambassador's of the class while out on the track. I'd hate to have to start using the AR boyz as probes  :burnout:

Spring Mountain less than 2 weeks to go?
So when I told John I thought my car was mostly ready for the TT he said bring it over to my place asap.

He is making molds of my one off +4 wide front fenders.

Here are a few pictures of yesterday and today's progress.
The drivers side mold is 50% complete, should have it done tomorrow night, then a 48 hour cure.

Fender Prepped and parting flanges in position, 8 Hrs to get to this point.
Image

Wax and mold release applied, dry time 1 hour.
Image

Gel Coat application last night at 8:00 PM, 12 Hour Dry time before mold lay-up.
Image

First two layers of fiberglass, two more tomorrow, then reinforcement plywood supports
will be added.

I wonder how many PCA TT cars are in this condition with less than 2 weeks till Spring Mountain?

John plans to start on the passenger front fender Monday.

I really don't like to rush John but he seems to have the time, resources and energy to always reach his goals.
My 911 gets better everytime it visits Simone's garage.:)

And it is just a waste of time comparing yourself to the other snails in AM, that isn't even a challenge

Simone (AKA: Weight Loss Guru) to the Rescue !

Postby jsimone on Mon Sep 18, 2006 9:48 am

Well I finally got a minute to catch my breath and jump onto the forum to get up to speed. Seems like a lot of talk going on in here, front engine, mid engine, rear engine, weight loss, weight gain, dropping points, gaining points. What does all this mean ?

Stay Tunned, you never know what may show up on the track in the near future from the Simone weight loss Clinic! Gee I hope Jenny doesn't get mad at me!

The Clock is ticking and I've got molds to finish and parts to make, gee I wonder how much additional weight I can shave off of Mike's EVO before Spring mountin !!!! Anyone care to take a guess

Everything is legal in Pahrump so I guess that would be too.

It appeared Jad was burning the forest to kill a tree, nah he was out to scorch the forest. :D

Exactly, if I pay a little extra can I have a lot less, please?
If I could place my old steel fenders on Bob's car that would help too. :D

Hope everyone is ready to GO!

Hey Mike G.

I'm thinking U better take the "Other Wing" with U, U know the one I'm talking about, "The Secret Weapon" as I understand that the straight section has been increased, that means more opportunity for speed! Great opportunity for a Science Project, Ya Know!

All I know is I wish I was out there with all you guys running, it sucks not having my new car done yet. I may have to break away from the shop and come out Saturday to check up on the Posse !
