[quote="jsimone"]Don't worry Mr. Bob will be there sliding his car all around the track laying down lots of sticky rubber for you guys to take advantage of !

Make sure Bobby E saves his car for timed runs...since #1 and #2 in AR1 will be racing @ Miller. Such a hollow victory
Gonna miss the fun! Can't wait to see the report.

ouch! So if Bob wins AR1 it's hollow with Roland or I in 2nd?
You should TT with us your trans should last 3 laps.

I still say my car appears the least prepared for the TT.
JC your broke trans is good for close second.

The mold process continues.
John has been busy on the molds while keeping up with his real (day) job too.

Drivers Side Mold with plywood back up structure to reinforce the mold so that it retains a prefect shape when removed from the fender

Yes it kinda looks like a Unique Whips left front mega sub woofer box.

Mold will be removed Thursday evening, then trim and clean.

With no time to spare it will be at the TT. :D

I'm looking @ season standings...Rollie will put the squeeze on E if he runs like he did @ Fontana last w/e. Hope you spend some time tweaking your car rather than giving out joy rides . Good news on the tranny front...broke my extra special first gear, so Jae is running around getting a new gear welded on. Should be slapped back in the car for Miller...3500' front straight, finally get to wind this motor out.

Affirmative, can do both at once. :D
I have a spare suit for Saturday riders, some takers too.

Ahh yes but the high altitude, engine might like a little more air there.
Lower downforce too... but what a track.
Malibu grand prix for adults.

Hey as CS front straight into Nascar 1 isn't the dog tapped out?
Laguna and Sears might have the best air.
G' luck! :D

I was flat out thru Nastycar 1&2...tried going deeper in before turning and unwinding asap. Only got to 142-143 and exited @ 140.5. I think losing some wing may bring the speed up, I was totally comfortable flat out. I think 3500' in a straight line I can get the motor to wind up to 7200 r's. T1&2 always put a damper on the motor tapping out.

I broke my 1st gear in a battle w/ a Craftsman Truck (HSR will let anyone on the track  )...Mike got hit in the hairpin by a POC guy w/ only 1 race school under him (OJ Group thankfully)...Bill lost boost till some Turbo guru came by and gave him the solution. Roland finished 6th in the Enduro, don't know about trophy race. BUT... the most interesting part of the weekend was being pitted next to Sergio N...he told me ALL about your car Mr. VO
I've got 3k burning a hole in my pocket, I smell a motor teardown
My advice to you Major Payne is to be nice and let me by from now on!

Hum, Let's see, JC tweaks his engine a tad to get to closer to Payne's Engine Specs, then the motor's might be putting out close to the same HP. Will it then come down to who has the faster Body Work, or who can keep there foot down longer !!!!

Right as rain John...gt3rs would pull away on the straight, but I'd stay w/ him ALL the way thru the infield. I'm pushing alot of air, even w/ a splitter and slammed down like long Mike. I haven't done anything to my motor yet...P.O. says it puts out 340-365 hp. Major Payne says his dyno sheet shows 295...the way he walked all over me @ Laguna I hardly believe it, tho it ran better w/ straight pipes @ Cal Speedway vs. mufflers for the sound nazi's.

Rizzy...gonna miss you most of all next w/e...xtra cold Jager...gazing @ the Wasatch Range...good times fer sure. POC requires a 3k deposit into an escrow account to protest someone's car...Major Payne claims a STOCK 3.6  Sergio told me about the work he KNOWS went into the motor AND the stuff he PERSONALLY did to the car...so unless I get a point by, I throw 3k into an escrow account, POC throws a big A$$ chain around his car, a shop does a teardown...if I'm right, I get my money back and he pays for the teardown/rebuild and has to reclass his car...oh and loses face w/in the club  Sometimes I love being me

Leave it to John to get us all fired up!:D
Sure it's all fun till the long timer gets TQ at Laguna. :D

Speaking of areo, can't wait to test Simone's latest low drag configuration at the TT.

Geez, I go out to dinner and all hell breaks loose. Just from one innocent post????? Holy cr*p!!
Doggy, you're slaying yoseff again, right?? I'm laffing all the way to the trophy room. No one said my motor is stock. Its all laid out in my Classification sheet and I AM properly classified.
Michael Essa is a straight shooter. Call him and ask him what my motor does on the dyno. Without the muffler, and with straight pipes,it's 300 hp even. That's it, Doggy. Sorry, I can't explain the Doggy's problems at LS, but I got a little insight for ya: Doggy improved by over 5 seconds during the week-end to a respectable 1:39. Did the motor all of a sudden come alive? You just need the Bee's stinger behind you to get you going earlier in the week-end!! Truthfully, you probably just need some more seat time in your new ride, Dude.
Save the $3000 and buy some new Michelins.
And, isn't it time you sent me one of these? :

I could have sworn that someone told me in an e-mail:
"My car is right where I want it".
Just thought I'd stir up the pot a bit.
Frankly, Mikey, with what you've done to your car, you should leave the plywood on to give everyone else a chance!!!
