You need to get your priorities right!

BUMP...

but a Thursday is a work day for some.

what's that ??

just go down to Coronado, get my butt kicked by lesser-built cars in KI than mine in AM

is that the real reason ?

:?: Will we have a designated area for a paddock on Thursday? The paddock for the vintage race on Saturday and Sunday is usually very full. This must happen on Thursday and Friday. Is there a plan?

Of course there is a plan! We will have a large paddock for trailers and another smaller one for just cars. :burnout: :burnout:
Watch for the signs that say "PCA DE" to guide you there.
There will be port-o-potties, concession stands and your pass will allow you to come and go from base to get gas etc.

Color and type font subject to change on sign for maximum visibility.
Oh yeah, then there's the armed escorts... :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:

How close will the trailer padock be to the car paddock? What is the earliest and recommended time to get there and get set up? I have a base sticker on my tow vehicle, so I can get on base no problem. Do I need any other documents to get into the paddock area (ticket, registration form, etc)? What time is the driver's meeting and first run group going out?

If the trailer padock is close, I dont have to unpack my tools, compressor, spare wheels, drinking water, chair, etc. It will impact the setup time is why I ask...

Also, have we determined how many run groups, how many cars per group. and how long the sessions?

BTW, thanks to all for setting this up!

We will have two parking lots. One for trailers and one for just cars. The smaller (just for cars lot) is right outside the track entrance.
There are 6 run groups, 25 cars per group.

From Announcments side of forum

Get your car pre-teched. Don't risk losingtrack time!
**All approved PCA & POC tech stations can be used**

* Get your form here http://www.pcasdr.org/img/pdf/general/AXRegForm.pdf
We really only need personal info. Modification Points do not apply to DE.

EDIT ***For highly modified cars we will need know the modification points!
So we know all the saftey requirements are in the car or on the driver

As the 2009 rules have details on what's needed...5 point belts, fire suits, gloves ect..
**For PCA rules see page 29 http://zone8.pca.org/rules/2009/Z8Driving2009.pdf

Just signed up last night at the 225.00 rate. I thought it was supposed to be 195.00 through 8/31.

Any idea how the waitlist process works? There were a bunch of non-Porsches that were catagorized as "new" - I was the only one listed as "waitlisted"

Hope I get in!

Neil,
It sounds like you signed up on the Non-PCA entry form. The PCA only one is already in waitlist, but you should still be on that one for the lower rate. Go back on this forum to find the PCA entry point and wait list on that one before you cancel the non-PCA one.

Chuck,

Thanks for the info. I signed up on the member side and then cancelled as a guest. Damn it man, can't believe I waited so long as to get waitlisted!

It's a military base with bombs, guns and other stuff we don't want our enemies getting their hands on.
Can you imagine the commentary by the media etc if they threw open the flood gates :surr:
