Big thanks to the A-X Chairs, and all the volunteers who make Qualcomm events happen. Although threatened by weather, we had a great day driving at the Q on Saturday the 18th.

Special thanks to Martha McGowen and Monica Bockman for spending so much time in the trailer organizing all the "stuff" and helping to make the timing portion happen. Thanks, Ladies! Could not have done it without you.

Kudo's to David, who designs the tracks. His fore-thought and safety concerns helped develope one of the safest, and funnest, tracks this year. Way to go, David!! Great track!

A special thanks to Ron Mistak for loaning me the tool I needed to get back home with all 4 wheels attached. (Also to Tim C. for helping with repairs.) Thanks so much!! 8) (There's a lot to be said for having a "loose nut behind the wheel"!! Brings a whole new meaning to the phrase.)

And a personal .... and huge, huge thank you to Chuck and Debbie Sharp, who loaned me their 944 for timed runs. (Chuck, there's an old saying about "never drive better/faster than the guy who loans you his car." Well, I didn't have to try to go slower. You kicked my butt. Nice driving! )

Those of us who showed up really got a treat. Thanks to everyone for making it happen!! Looking forward to the next one.

I'd like to throw in a big kudos to the AX team as well. You guys are really starting to come together as witnessed this weekend. The event was well run, we had a great and "Safe" track that was a lot of fun and everyone was more relaxed. Again a great job.

I'd also like to Thank Tim from Mind Over for having the power steering fluid I needed to keep going this weekend, even though I over filled it and freaked a few people out with the smoke from the over flow.
