Thanks for the vids/pics! Even though I was limited to JAFO status, it was still fun watching from the sidelines.

I have a question though about the cars that spun in the wet: were the students told to turn off traction control/PSM systems on their cars? Or did they spin in spite of electronic nannies turned on?

Just curious thanks!

Yes, in all the cases that I am aware of, the PSM was off when the cars spun. In fact the PSM should have been off for all excercises. Unless of course the instructor was demonstrating the difference between PSM and non-PSM.

Doesn't PSM automatically kick back on when the ABS activates and anytime the car is turned off and back on? Wouldn't be a problem in any exercise except possibly mini-AX, I suppose. Just curious. I recall the skidpad last Sept and having to remind my students to turn it off virtually every time. Didn't help the guys with the C4s. Couldn't tail out if their lives depended on it. Good thing, I suppose.

My ABS is my right foot and PSM is activated by through the steering wheel and throttle

Nice try! :) It's pretty easy to see that the car is weighted heavily on the driver's side, which means it is turning right, and yet the front wheels are turned to the left, in almost full opposite lock. Can you say "oversteer correction?" :D
