A little OT-- help needed!

While I've been away for a while since the 931 has gone to a better place, we are still devising a plan to have a full-time PCA autocross/DE/TT car for 2007! Hurray!
Okay, now for the Off Topic-- my wife and I have been renting a very small one bedroom apartment for the last two years in Poway. I work in Kearny Mesa, she in Chula Vista as a 5th grade teacher at a small Christian school. The lease is up for renewal, and our property management has informed us that the complex is getting "too complex"-- new construction to be gated, no more free parking, BIG increase in $$ with not a lot of measurable gain in benefits-- only headaches and even less storage and parking!
Being as interconnected as the PCASDR is, I just wanted to put a feeler out if ANYONE has any rental property available in the next few months in and around San Diego County. Specifically we are looking for something with a garage (given), probably a small Condo or smaller house. We are a very small family, just the two of us and two 18 lb cats (yikes!). My wife is a neat freak and has successfully kept our apartment immaculate despite the best of my greasy undoings and her very busy work and commute schedule.
So, to keep this short, if everyone can keep an eye out for an "affordable" smaller place for us (read: small = affordable), that would be great. We are trying to avoid another apartment but are not quite ready to purchase our first house.
Thank you all so much! I'm off to the PCAOCR autocross in the morning to deliver some seats (and maybe sneak a lap in or two), and will definitely be at the local autocross this next weekend.
