Where to get tires installed

Getting some tires from Tirerack and I'm looking for somewhere to get them installed. The recommended installers on their site want $20 - $25 per tire to mount them.
Does anyone know a place that is cheaper?

Go see Don and Joe at Import Tire on 13th and F downtown. They will do it for half that.

I have also heard that Bear Tires off Miramar Rd. has cheap mounting service for racers, but have never used them, since Don and Joe get all my business.

I use this place over in the College area (El Cajon Blvd a block east of College). Can't remember the name though, so that doesn't help. Jae Lee recommended them though so call him and ask. When the Hoosier guy couldn't get my 245/30/18's on my wheels I thought I was screwed. But these guys slipped them on no problem, been going back ever since. $40 for all 4 ready to go.

Don and Joe are the the guys.
Usually about $20 each tire to mount and balance a set or 17's or 18's that you bought at Tirerack or Discount. You can even have them drop shipped to Import Tire.
Don't expect big or fancy, but they are great guys that we have been using for over 20 years.

Big white building with Michelin on the side.
The number at import tire is 619-291-9666.

Mind Over Motorsports does them for $22 each including filling with Nitrogen and taping the weights. Nice not to have to purge them if you run Nitrogen. Just make sure you show them which tires go with which wheels (front and rear)....

I use the same place. I had a receipt from my last visit, but can't find it. $40 - $50 depending on what all you ask them to do. Small place, but they do a good job and it's the least expensive I've found. Best to bring your wheels loose to them.

I believe it's Power Tires in El Cajon, yes? Reuben is the owner. I've used them several times and in addition to cheap they are FAST!!!!Highly recommend them.

You are correct on both counts John (I guess it was bound to happen sooner or later) and Bill. It is Power Tire, ask for Ruben, and their number is 619.229.9545.
