There's a place on Prospect in Santee that sells the VP line. They have 55 gal. drums of almost everything incl 100 unleaded. If you're willing to go to Santee, I'll look for the name and/or give you directions.

Cosby Oil on Fairmont (north of I-8 and east of the stadium in Mission Valley) has 100 unleaded and 110 leaded at their pumps 24/7, but you need an account to access them. You can buy containers without an account out of the office when they are open.

I'll look for the name, but in the meantime, take 52 to Mission Gorge; go left on Mission Gorge to Cuyamaca; turn right on Cuyamaca to Prospect; turn left on Prospect. After you pass a business named "County RV" on the right, it's about another block or so and before the freeway. It's a retail business on the right side dealing mainly in off-road parts/supplies --very friendly. You can take whatever jugs you have (plastic is OK) and they'll fill them for you.

Fiber Tech 619-448-0293

Also a nice source for weber parts, dzus fasteners, fuel jugs, and other off-road and racing supplies.

It is located 100 Yards east of Hwy 67 and Prospect.
From the south or east is is I-8 to 67 north.

+1 for race fuel from Fibertec in Santee, good prices and usually keep all the good flavors in stock, but I usually buy my race supplies from someone else :-P

Thanks I got some fuel at Fibertec. But have since found that RaceReady here in Chula Vista also carries it. So if you need fuel in So. Bay you have a ready source.

As Tom pointed out with Cosby, you can buy 24/7 both leaded and unleaded race fuel from a pump. There is nobody there to police you so if you want to take the chance of burning up while putting it in a plastic jug it is up to you.

I don't know about their pricing levels (it comes to mind I wonder what it is currently with other gas so high), but I find it very convenient to buy at Cosby on the way to an autocross since it is so close to the stadium (if I ever get time to do an autocross!!!).

It is easy to get one of their credit cards and then you are a member of the CFN or Commercial Fueling Network which I found convenient on a road trip for non-racing fuel at truck stops.
