Sparco Seats for sale

Postby MVZ944T on Wed May 03, 2006 7:12 am

I know this is not the for sale site  but I need to move these. Bought a new car and the seats are too small for me. So I have 2 SPARCO REV FIA approved seats with alum mounts. Red, med sized (email for exact dimensions). Like new condition. List with mounts is over $750. Asking $450 each, with mounts.

No it is not a cup car or Pastorini's GT3R, much as I would like to say that it is. I declined to join the rear engined bunch decided to stay a turncoat (applause from Dr. Greg?) and purchased another 951, quite similar to the yellow car. Similar spec's, less time on the car. Suffice it to say, it is bar none the best looking 951 race car I have seen anywhere. Chris Cervalli built engine, mods' and cage. Yellow car may become a parts car, not sure yet. Give me your email and I will send a couple of pic's.

Steve,

It is from AZ, has the custom Porsche crest lights, but it is silver with cobalt blue graphics. Wide body rear with narrow body front. Scoop on the roof with a banana wing. Vision GT front end. Pretty striking car.

I must be wrong on color, but that is definitely the car. You can't miss those lights. I saw it about 2 years ago and took a good look at it. Phenomenally stunning car, ready for concours as well as the track.

Nice acquisition!

Can't wait to see it again...
So does that make the Yellow 951 the "T" car?

Yes, that is a sweet car. It was at Fontana two years ago and I gave it a good look over (even got Steve to look at it) but decided to turn my stock 951 into a racecar instead of buying more car than I needed for AX and TT's. It was so nice, I almost bought it anyway.

Keep those rear engined cars in their place :D

Steve,

Not sure what you mean by the T car, but for the moment I am going to swap a few items items, maybe the Kokeln rear suspension. Suspension wise it is identical to the old car except the rear suspension mounts. The turbo is a larger Garret unit. I spoke with Chris Cervalli yesterday and he told me getting 370-380 to the rear wheels is not problem. it dyno'd earlier @ 410 with 20lbs of boost. I don't think I want to stress it that much. Probably get the Yellow car back running and checked out and put it up for sale. It would be nice to have a spare car, but I don't have the room. I am taking down to Jae and have him reset the suspension, put it on the dyno at WC Vipers and then get it on the track. Doubt I will make Fontana though.

Mike,
The "T" car reference is F-1.
When you brake your F-1 car in Saturday practice the "T" (Trainer car) or spare car can be used for the race. Just figured you guys with mulitple race cars in your stables knew the"T" car referece...
Are you going to have grid girls as well...giving out brownies?

Gettin' nervious, Killer?

Go Mike, go! Chase down those hot-air blowers and show 'em what Porsche water-pumper technology can really do!

New car sounds awesome! (Can you post a picture?) I hope to see it at one of our TT's soon.

Should be at BW for the TT. If anyone can tell me how to attach photo's to this I will put them on. If you want to see a water pumper kick butt, check out this old French guy that just started with the POC. 944 Turbo is a piece of %&*#%, and the guy turned a 1:25:60 at WSIR. I thought it had to be a mis print and I checked some TCRA results from last year. The real deal. Neil Wright tells me he used to be a pro rally driver in Europe. There are 3 of these guys all with similar cars and I wonder if they were all ex rally drivers. I may have to take lessons!!
