Paint Protecting

Postby Chip on Fri May 05, 2006 10:05 am

A girl I work with just got a new SLK and wants to get it teflon coated to help protect the paint. Does anyone have any good referals?

Waste of money. But call Bumper Doctor in Kearny Mesa and see what they have.

I would agree that the teflon coating is not much help, but check with Modern Image about their protection (page 51 in Witness)

Ok, thanks. I'll tell her to just use the car cover she already has. Which is what I told her in the first place.

I've never had any problems in the past, but I'm known for over washing and waxing my vehicles. :D
