go to the early 911s registry message board. There are several people there who have color sample charts for the early 911's

I have scans of all the Glasurit color chips from '66-73 on my website here:
http://members.rennlist.com/tweedt/glasurit.htm There were two dark metallic greens in that period, but I believe Dark Green Metallic #221 is the same as the #62109 you are looking for, which was a 356 color code, I think. However, looking at a scanned chip on a computer monitor isn't very accurate or satisfying. Going to the Early S Registry and searching for pictures of cars in that color will work, but seeing one in the flesh is really the only answer. There are some pics in this thread--

It is amazing to me that Porsche does not resurrect some of these "olden days" non-metallic colors at least as options, there must be no demand which I find surprising.
The 997's would look great in Polar Red, Turkish Green, Viper Green, Blood Orange, Signal Orange, Continental Orange, Irish Green, Gulf Blue, etc. and I don't think there are any non-metallics available at all other than the standard Red, Yellow, White and Black. The cost of the paint to sample option is a big price just to get another non-metallic color.
The 997 RS will have a non-metallic Orange and Green as optional colors- maybe there is hope.
