7/16/2006 Qualcomm Event Photos

Postby MattL on Sun Jul 16, 2006 5:46 pm

I was passing qualcomm this afternoon to go shoot some photos in the desert but since I saw a bunch of you having a blast I figured I'd rather stay in SD and not deal with 100+ degree temps.

Here's a few of the photos I got from today. Hope you don't mind me posting the images rather than just links.

Nice pan blurred cones and cars in perfect focus, thank you fm #78.

JR gracias amigo, Simone’s new body worked perfectly and garnered several compliments.

Cory nice to meet you and thanks for all the info and test run on your trick trailer ramps.

Lots of fun track time, but for those pesky 944 Spec drifters

Hey Mike Gagen,
Thanks for the opportunity to drive your car, I really enjoyed it ! It was a pleasure assisting with your needs and working with you on this project. Now I need to get my new car done so I can get out there with you guys and have fun!

Greg nice work again on the always enjoyable photos, avatar quality.

Dr. Simone thanks for lending your skills and expertise to my project, fun to see the car in action nice of you to take it out.
I'll call you in a week to schedule new molds.
First I'd like to see your two race tubs at the powder coater asap. :D

Got an E ticket ride with Dano in his 944, that track is a blast for 944 racers. Can't wait to return the favor, thanks Dan!
Saw Greg go by once, he must of been driving with just his big toe on the gas trying not to power slide his 928 beast around. :D

Fun event, good seeing the crew again, where was Gary Burch?

Thanks to Curt Y., Chuck S. and all the volunteers/helpers for yet another fun, educational, enjoyable DE at the Q. Great job, guys!!

Mike G., thanks for joining me for a session. That was a hoot! You were quite complimentary. Next up: Me in the Co-Pilot seat of your rocket? BTW: Nice new avitar!

Greg and MattL: nice photo work! I think you guys really caught the essence of the day.

Jackie C., :?: What's up with those last few shots? Gotta say, you sufficiently frightened Mr. Blyther : "Dude: She's nuts!"

The 944Spec run session was great to watch. Sorry I was on Street Tires, and couldn't keep up. Truth is: I blew out my muffler and had my speedo "hopping" after the last "driftin'" session. (Speedo is okay .... can't say the same for the muffler :x )

Those of you absent, you were missed.

See you all down the road.....
