Are the last two AX events no points events as usual this year. It doesn't say so on the calendar and I was curious.

Also, rumor has it there are two throw-outs for the year. Is this true? Inquiring minds want to know...

Not sure about whether the next-to-last event is a points event (the final one in December is always a no-points "other car" event, but last year the mid-November one was a points event).
There are NO throw-outs. We tried this one year and it didn't work very well, so there are no throw-outs. All events count.

Mid November usually counts, but Thanksgiving weekend events generally don't from my memory. While AX is clearly the most important event on the planet on any given weekend , events on major holidays like Thanksgiving and Xmas probably shouldn't be for points in my opinion.
I have also heard the rumor of 2 throwouts being considered for this season but I feel this is WAY too late to add such a rule, so I hope you are correct Kim.

There will be an official announcement at the September 16th autocross regarding which events do not count and how many throwouts will be allowed. Thanks.
