Last time I found out somebody borrowed the trailer and didnt bring it back in a timely fashion. This time somebody stole the whole trailer PLUS the 9146 I had picked up last week. It sat on the trailer in the parking lot behind MOM for 4 days.
Please keep your eyes peeled for 9146 parts or complete car.
It is one thing to replace the trailer, it is another to replace a 9146 that was to be shipped to Canada Wed. of this week.

Trailer plate number: 4EZ8586 It is a black 18ft open flatbed trailer "Big Tex" with 2x12 flooring and generic white spoke wheels. The license plate is screwed to the drivers side rear fender.
9146 VIN: 9140431270 Black 9146 that several people looked at over the last few weeks (the one buried in the garage)

I've keep an eye out for it Brad. I hope it turns up.
It sounds like there is a serious theft problem over there in Miramar. Probably time to install some gates and maybe an alarm system. A simple chainlink gate with a lock is actually pretty effective at reducing theft, alot of these theives just drive around business parks in pick-ups or vans looking for anything of value to steal. We had people unbolting stainless and aluminum parts off of our equipment just to take it to the scrapyard! Theft was reduced big-time when we put in fences.

sorry to hear about the theft-- a rude reminder that there are some bad people out there. I can tell you the thief didn't try to unload the car or parts at Pomona Sunday. I'll keep my eyes open too.

I have an "informed" lead I'm working on right now.
I appreciate your efforts. The car was too leave out this week for Canada and a full blown restoration. I left it on the trailer because the shipping company is 5 blocks from the shop.
The camera stuff was not connected. They put it up, but never set it up after testing the camera's.

I stopped by MOM on Friday and the trailer + 914 were there in the back.
Hope you recover these.

I stopped by early Sat. morning around 7am and it was still there.
I told the police between 7am and 8am Monday morning.
I made sure my health insurance was good yesterday. I'm down to my health and my truck. Pretty much lost everything else.

Brad,
Sorry about your loss. I am surpised that MOM did not tell you not to leave it back there. They have had other things stolen from what Tim told me.

I was told numerous times. I went in thinking: it will only be there for a total of 5 days before it would be shipped to Canada.
The coulda/woulda/shoulda's... I was supposed to attend the POC event this past weekend at Laguna. If I had... the trailer would have been with me and the car would have been sitting elsewhere.
I just want people to keep their eyes and ears open. The parts will show up. They are hard to miss.

I gave the VIN to John Chambers, who is attending Ventura this weekend. I'll also alert my racing friends in Mexico.
