Just returned from BW with POC and verified what I had thought to be the difference in lap times between Config. #1 CW and #1a CW. On Friday, the a.m. session was on #1. Afternoon was on #1a. Everyone was 3+seconds slower on #1a. It was as valid a comparison as can be made since so many different drivers were involved and universally experienced similar results.
Have fun at Pahrump --wish I could make it but unable this year.

Could temperature outside account for the difference as well? Maybe not the entore difference but contribute to slower time in the afternoon?

Yes, it could, but there was an immediate 3+ second difference as soon as we changed to the new config --

John,

I was glad you checked that. Now I know I was only 2-3 seconds slower than last year, not 6! Having said that, my braking still sucked! What happened to you in CR#2, did not see your name in the results? Good time in the Solo. I gotta get slicks!

I had so much going on as co-Eventmaster (with the other guy a no show on Sunday), and also running the Time Trial, that I didn't have time to do the Sunday race. Whatever..........as they say. Still had fun and it was good to see U and your charming. More seat time in your new ride and you'll be back!!!
