Disgruntled in AM

I pose this question to Steve G or any concerned AM'er. When Roland was in AM his 3.6 was a complete engine swap and I can see AM due to loop holes in max displacement points etc. However, how does a 3.6 widebody with Webers and running slicks for timed runs slip into AM? I realize its the last TT and it doesn't affect the AM winner outcome , but it needs to be addressed. Please prove me wrong and lets see how the car made it into AM. :?

No offense to anyone in the following example (yer both great guys.. :D ) but I was having visions of being Dan Chambers in his car, competing against Jad in his  ....for the same class trophy.

Dear Everyone,
Upon closer examination I admit I should of re-classified myself considering some of my recent upgrades. I am in fact in AR1 although I use to be in AM and regret that I did not take my classifacation more seriously.
It's not a good excuse but it has been years, several , since I stuck around for timed runs at a TT so I guess I just didn't take the class designation serious and obviosly I should have. I apologize for not being more respectful and sensitive of those more serious and competitive about that sort of thing. It was a rookie move and I am truely sorry and was not trying to win anything.
I'am just there to have fun try and go a little faster.

Maybe the powers that be can slot you in the AR results based on your timed runs?

Just a thought

At this point maybe the best class to slot me in would be *** instead of AR1

my post was changed........

What I said was maybe my class should be AS with a capitol S on the end but the forum big brother somehow automatically turned it into ***
Thats a good trick

Hey 911DV8,
Don't let Dan aka Gulf boy off so easy. He said that next time he saw you there was gonna be a huge fight and said that if you were any sort of man at all you would light his car on fire while he was at the drivers meeting.

Geez, and I thought there was at least ONE good driver in AM. Now there is just Riz who I schooled more than when I was CDI, Dan, who should have learned from his woopin at the kart track but didn't who could have been timed using a sun dial he was so slow, and of course Curt (aka I am nothing without a voodoo Barbie doll) who was too scared to even show up. And that class is suppose to be faster than KP - yeah sure :P

and now I better hide from the trash talk excuses that are inevitable. I can hear it now, waaagh my second gear doesn't work :bigcry: Even Miles doesn't cry that much :burnout:
