Hi all:

I just wanted to say a personal thank you to all who helped out at the PDS this past weekend. Starting with the guys and gals at Black Forest through all the people who stayed late Sunday to load the Trailer .... and everyone everywhere in between:

Thank You!!

Instructors: you guys are the best. Mark your calendars for Dec. 3rd at the Q.

Also, a special thanks to Gary Burch for all his help this year as "El hombre magnifico de Los Tres Amigos." In his own quiet and unassuming way he did more work than three people normally would or could. Thanks, Dude!

Finally, hats off to Carl, who re-aligned the Saturday structure, re-evaluated the run group structure, and provided more seat-time for the Students both days, and for the Instructors on Sunday afternoon (40-minute run sessions! That's twice as long a run session as at a DE). Magnificent!

I heard nothing but rave reviews from all the students that I talked to. Another great PDS!

Did you know:
- People drive hundreds of miles to come to our school because of its reputation.
- Our PDS is a benchmark for others.
- People think our PDS is as good or better than schools costing thousands of dollars.
- There is no other school that I know of capable of teaching beginners through advanced students all at the same venue.

All instructors should walk away from the school with a sense of pride on what we accomplish. I know I do.

This is right on. My student drove down from San Francisco to attend the school!

Bravo to Los Tres and all the volunteers!

Great job by all the behind the scenes volunteers.
It’s a pleasure/luxury to simply show up and instruct.
Thank you all for another well organized and perfectly executed event! :D

I enjoyed participating in the charity lunch rides too.
Doing so kind of thrust #59 and myself into the spotlight.
(#59 sounded like an electric powered 911 compared to Bob’s car)
Sunday morning as I spoke for a moment on the PA system to the students my mind was thinking about my 50+ instructor peers, many with more years of driving experience.
I’m fully aware with this talanted group, I'm just another strong middle of the instructor pack driver.
Believe me the show was all for the students and charity.
Jim Duncan’s charity lunch raffle concept was successful and did raise a tidy sum.
Can you believe it, Jim won the instructor raffle!
He offered his winning ride to Margi Knight, I was flattered to have her trust and soon after she was in my passenger seat and I was helping her with the 5 point belts and the intercom system.
Margi was a brave and willing winner, and on our last lap through the esses I think I heard our helmets click a couple times.

Hello and Kudos to all that helped make this event a great sucess. As a first( but not last)time participant I was amazed at the level of activity and the smoothness with which all seemed to flow. Everyone that I had contact with from registration
to the instuctors on thru the track teardown were great. As a relatively new member I am constantly amazed at the quality and quantity of events that this club stages. Looking forward to the next PDS.

I too want to thank all our volunteers. With each PDS I am amazed at the number and quality of volunteers that come out to support our club.

Our fine group of instructors make it possible to teach everyone from the timid new Porsche owner to the aspiring club racer. And a special thanks to Craig and Marlee Shaw who traveled all the way from Idaho to help us this weekend.

And thanks also to Mike Cagen and Bob Ehrman for donating their time and their tires to charity. It was really great to be able to show the students a couple of race-prepared P-cars, and to raise money for charity at the same time.

But we also need to thank a host of support people who go largely unnoticed: equipment chairs, logistic chairs, insurance chairs, the ax team who helped so much with set-up, a future club president who drives a water trunk all day Saturday, the registration team, the tech team, safety chairs, etc. etc. etc. Thank you one and all! It could never happen without everyone's efforts.

Thanks to Los Tres Amigos for another great PDS. You are AWESOME!!
Thanks to everyone else who joined in the effort. Could not have done this without our FABULOUS driving instuctors.
Special thanks to John Simone, Mike Gagen, and Bob Erhman for making Sunday more exciting then usual. Katina did a great job in selling raffle tickets and raising over $500 for Charity.

And thanks to Jim Duncan for giving me the opportunity to ride in a "suped up " car.

Clicking helmets is a first for me, Mike.

You are all great!!

Thanks to the students and a big thanks to the Instrutors and volunteers. This was a total team effort.
I think the Saturday morning schedule provided a foundation for the afternoon exercises. And the rain worked in perfectly.
Carl and Dan did their usual great job.
This club is lucky to have so many talented people willing to donate their time and expertise. That's the reason the school is so well respected.

Bill caught the essence of the school in the above quote. My student flew in from Detroit, MI specifically to attend our school! Dan turned out to be a quick learner, as well!

Our PDS is an incredible bargain. We had students who had only driven their car five times, to those who have taken the school previously. Each learned at their own level, and every student I spoke with gave glowing remarks about the school and instructors.

Thanks to Tres Amigos for their terrific organization and leadership. At the risk of repeating other's remarks, Thanks also to those who volunteered. We wouldn't have a school without you. Congratulations all!

Thanks to everybody including the Tres Amigos and all the behind the scenes people involved. Until you really get involved (beyond instructing) you have NO idea what it takes to pull something like this off. A special thanks to our own Greg Phillips who managed to instruct students, coddle instructors and take a bazillion pictures.
