I would like to suggest we have a Tech Session (or maybe a Last Tuesday Social get-together sit-down with appropriate beverages?) to have someone knowledgeable do a presentation on the rules differences and then do a Q&A. I know I would attend.
One thing I just learned (looking at the 2006 rules), is that while my Falken Azenis tires are allowed in the LS/S class under Zone 8 rules, under Parade Competition rules they are NOT allowed in the Parade Showroom Stock classes ("why" is left as an exercise for the student). I will need to switch tire brands before the Parade if I want to compete in the Showroom Stock S-03 class.
I suspect there are other surprises awaiting many of us who have not competed in a Parade before.
