PCA SDR

I had really wanted to attend SDR's WSIR event this year, but again, unfortunately, there was a conflict with POC Las vegas.
Seems like all at Willow had the usual great time. Just thought I'd pass on a little feedback about the new outside track at Vegas:
First of all, here's a video of the track --this is not a POC car, but it's a good video of the track we ran.

The track has been modified to 2.35 miles from last year.
Like Pahrump, it's VERY technical --you hate it in the a.m. and love it by the end of the day.
We ran races there on both Sat and Sun and a TT on Sun. The majority agreed at the end of the day that this is not a track to be missed and a definite part of next year's schedule.
I pass this on with the thought that SDR might want a change of pace and either try Las vegas as an alternative to Pahrump (though, nothing wrong with Pahrump!) or somehow add it to the schedule --or, to those interested, consider joining POC at LV next year to supplement the PCA schedule.
P.S. Sorry I didn't get my Top 10 picks in for Willow before the event --it came out just as I would have predicted!!!

yes i do have a car, a 75' chassis with different motor, better suspension. can you help me out with the point sheets ?? i want to be sure i'm in the right class...

These two guys are talking about points sheets and Classes when they haven't even learned to drive yet!!!
I would definitely recommend they consider a momentum vehicle to start with.
As a matter of fact, I have identified the perfect setup for the two of them. There will be a steep learning curve, but nothing they can't overcome in a couple years!

I was thinking about putting non stock rockers and maybe increasing my displacement, changing my suspension pieces a bit, and maybe taking out another 300 lbs or so. Do you think that will move my class in either club?

The rockers will definitely be a problem in POC. But, have you considered chroming your wheels?
I start out with a nice post about the outside Las Vegas track and I get all this BS in return!!!!
I guess that's what you have to expect when you make it to the top!!! (check your e-mails!)

Okay, Okay, just funnin' ya. The Vegas track looks really fun. Reminds me of the Pahrump track we did a couple months back. Lots and lots of turns. I hope it was as fun to drive as it was to watch.

I have a short vid of you Sunday from John Keane's car that I wish I could post here. He was desperately trying to catch & pass you on the last few laps and it shows in his agression. It also shows how much you've benefitted from the tens of thousands of dollars you spent learning to drive courtesy of Mr. Doug Baron. You drove great lines and as I said at the track Sunday, that was the best I've ever seen you race. I just wish I'd been able run so I could have ruined your day. You looked like something the cat dragged in after the race....

Do you mean you have a '75 (1975 chassis) or 75' (75 foot) chassis? You probably have a 75' chassis!!
I'm not familiar with point sheets for Monster Trucks, but Lowyder could probably help you out there.
