Need some worn out 17" tires for fitment test

Postby ttweed on Tue Feb 27, 2007 8:02 am

Does anyone have some throwaway 17" race tires in 245 and 265 or 275 I could use for testing the fitment on some track rims? Corded or totally clapped out is fine--I'm not going to run them, I just need one of each size to mount on rims and test for clearances on the car before I commit to buying new tires.

Thx,
TT

I have V710 245 an 275.

They are still on the rims, but if you want to pull them off you can have them.

AH YES :D ..........Tom has discovered the secret!

As we get older you just need BIGGER tires and MORE HP to beat those "kids":)

In my case I might have to also give up donuts :(

Get um Tom!

Tom,
I also have a v710 245 and a 275 and a ra1 275. They are not mounted. I live just a couple of blocks away from you off La Canada.

Carl-

Muchas gracias for the offer, it would have been really convenient to just drive a few blocks, but I went out to Ethan's and got his wheels yesterday and had them dismounted at Import Tire this morning, so I'm set now.

Thx,
TT
