Day Away From Work April 16th at Streets

Had a great time at the Streets TT! Really enjoyed the 4 hours of track time . Looking forward to the next time and I see the Day Away event is coming up in April.

But what is up with only two twenty minute DE sessions and three timed runs? Not sure I want to drive 6 hours for 40 minutes track time? Is it worth it? Anyone do it last year? Will there truly be only two sessions?

George, that event is not put together by the SD region but rather the Grand Prix Region.

Also, OCR has a Zone 8 - Streets event planned for Monday May 7th with paid workers! Cap 80 cars so lots of track time. Ata minimum 4 twenty min. sessions + end of the day timed runs. Technically it's an Auto-X so at the end of the day we will have three or four runs with a standing start. You must have a minimum of 4 AX events to enter.

We will run CCW with the bowl.

If you were an instructor at OCR Drivers Clinic you are entitled to one FREE entry to an OCR event. Including our two streets events. The second on is in September.
