Thanks Chris. How many cars are signed up? Looking forward to a beautiful weekend in Balboa, should be a great event. A good excuse to bring the whole family out and hit a museum or 2 while there also.

Man, somebody get the word out. We gotta get more than 35 cars there. Chris, my coupe is prettier than your convertible!

I've been cleaning cone marks off all week so it will be presentable at the concours. :D

OK
Chris

If I finish putting suspension in my friends '89 930S I will bring it out for a "test drive"

Pretter than your 968 and 650 twin Turbo H.P.

You know a "Mans Car"

Jad- welcome to the world of $10 paint jobs. I prefer Krylon. banner Red Gloss!

OK - Think your ancient bucket of bolts and bailing wire is nicer than my 968 Cab? "Mans car"?? I think you meant "Girlie-MAAN"!

I think I'll step it up a notch and bring this water pumper instead! -

That is a nice car Chris...
But who is going to teach you how to drive it?
Put these two cars side by side and lets see where the croud ends up. A beatuiful, abiet stock anyone with a check book can buy it car or a one off piece of mechanical art.

"The car makes the name.. the name does not make the car"

3.6L twin turbo, twin plug, 12 injector- 6 butterfly- 962 fuel injection controlled by state-of-the-art engine management and 27inches of polished aluminum intercooler. Did I mention the 650 HP and 3100 pound curb weight. (That's 4.7 lbs/HP) This car makes the horsepower of a 997 on 3 cylinders!

And no bailing wire or bucket here, Just lots of titanium, stainless steel and billet aluminum. This car is done right. And no PSM or ABS so wanna-be's need not apply.

Well I better get back to work so I can finish this car and show you what was ment by "Excellence was expected"

Wow! How'd you get the other injectors in the holes? You must really be strong - I had a heck of a time just getting one in each of the holes in my head. Guess that's why you get paid the big bucks!

Jeff,

962'S have two injectors per cylinder. One down low for low speed operation and another injector up higher in the manifold for high RPM high HP boosted operation. That's how you get a totally streetable, smooth idling. 650HP car. That and a lot of money.

It looks something like this

BTW- I didn't get paid a thing for the motor- I am only doing the suspension.
