Here is another video concerning that crash. It also says that 2 Carrera GTs were crashed during the filming of the movie that they were ther promoting.

Really really sad. Too much money ... not enough brains!

Too bad $1.5 million doesn't get you ABS.

I would guess he never got to the brakes and just understeered off the track into the wall. I would guess the Enzo does have ABS, but not stability control

Who was the idiot that put a hard right turn at speed that close to a K rail? They knew these were celebreties doing a promo. I doubt we would allow such a setup in a DE at the Q.

Everytime some crashes one of these cars the press keeps uping the price. A year ago it was a $750K car, then it was $1Million, now it's $1.2Million or $1.5Million depending on which part of the news feature you listen to. At this rate it will be a $3Million car by the end of the year. As previously stated. too much money and limited driving ability for such a powerful car.

Supply vs. demand, right? Assuming constant demand, the price has to go up every time one is totaled. Maybe it is a conspiracy between a few clever Enzo owners to raise the value of their investment!

Maybe it's just media sensationalism.

Yes the price does go up everytime someone totals one of these rare cars. I don't think they go up at quite that rate though. It's all supply and demand. I think you had to already own an F40 or F50 to be able to buy an Enzo when they were in production. Now you can buy one from someone selling or a dealer like Symbolic. I doubt they have too many prerequisites for ownership other than enough money.

If you listen to his interview on the following link,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zGOpv4o8ivs&NR
he is saying he was doing 90 to 110 and that the reason he crashed is because a cone got caught in the wheel.......
Sure glad it was a wall and not a bunch of cameramen standing there filming him.
Maybe we should sign him up as the guest of honor at the upcoming Driving school. This would be a great publicity stunt for the club.
