On my way to work this morning, driving my diesel junker from our new home in Valley Center down through Escondido (aka TJ north), what pulls along side me but a black Carrera Gt, Lic plate 612 HP. Gorgeous!Nice commuter car I was thinking. I turned off the radio, rolled down the window and listened to what has to be the most glorious sounding combustion engine ever made, short of a P-51 Mustang at full tilt. Hell, it might even beat that. Even at 40 mph that thing made a Ferrari sound a bit dull. What a shame they have to cost so much. Common lotto ticket! :P

Mike - I'm not completely convinced on the CGT looks - sorta El Camino like from the back. However, the engine sounds totally sweet and better than the modern Ferraris in my opinion.

I think Pete's right. If you were to re-design the rear with a longer, wider piece of glass it would be just like ... a 944! (And a CGT is water-cooled, remember. ) 944 - Now, there's a great sounding car. 8)

Who can dispute the sweet sound of a 944 with noxious gases wafting out the remains of the fuel used to create 135 RWHP? I wish I could hear mine running! Almost don't even care if the CGT looked like a Pontiac Aztek from the back, the view from the drivers seat has got to be amazing.
